Home Visits

Doctor's bag

When necessary, we will make home visits to those who are housebound or too unwell to come to the surgery. Doctors can see 5-6 patients in the time taken to visit one patient at home. It is extremely rare for children to need a home visit. Taking children out will do no harm.

Please try to ring before 11:00am where possible.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
